The morning is divided into two parts and two teachers usually share the class. The course is designed to improve students’ abilities to use language accurately and fluently while concentrating on the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Centre of English Studies gives students the unique opportunity to study in two countries in any of our centres. The Multi-Destination Course gives students the opportunity to live in both England and Ireland and more about the culture, history and social life of both countries.
This course prepares students with the skills and strategies they need to make the transition to college and university. Students are encouraged to develop independence in a range of academic tasks.
A formal IELTS qualification is essential for those candidates who intend to go on to study a university course through English. IELTS is the most widely accepted university entry requirement in Ireland, the UK and throughout the world.
Students follow the standard course in the mornings and take the business option three afternoons per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The Business option is designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment.
