In this course, students will study the ESL program + CMAR. MLI's CMAR class (Conversation Management and Accent Reduction) is a comprehensive pronunciation course covering all the major consonant and vowel sounds in the English language.

The Vacation English program will provide students with the opportunity to explore in and around the Los Angeles area while helping improve confidence in using English in everyday situations. Based on Language Systems’s popular intensive ESL program, the Vacation English program focuses on listening, speaking, grammar and reading skills, but it has less rigorous academic requirements, helping students improve while having enough time to explore popular nearby tourist sites.

The General 20 course focuses on language fluency as a main goal. The four major skills students will practice are reading, writing, speaking and listening.

This program introduces participants to the exciting process of filmmaking. Students will study under experienced teachers who have worked on major Hollywood projects as they learn every part of the moviemaking process, from writing their own short screenplay to editing their film on Adobe Premiere.

Surf lessons take place in nearby Huntington Beach, renowned as Surf City USA, the site of the world famous US Open and other surfing championships as well as some of the best surf in the United States. Students will learn the skills to enjoy the ultimate California sport! Program Includes: • 18 lessons of English plus 10 lessons of Surfing Workshops per week (wet suit and board included) .
