RGIT Australia’s General English (ELICOS) program will help students to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and general communication skills. RGIT Australia’s General English (ELICOS) program is aimed at non-native English speakers or people with a minimum to average level of English competency.

The General English Course aims to develop students’ social practical communication skills in terms of four English skills: listening, speaking and pronunciation, reading and writing including grammar. The General English course is a 20 hour/week course designed to give students the opportunity for rapid progress in all facets of the English language.

You will have a personalised OHC English Programme based on a strategic needs analysis by OHC. You choose how many lessons you will have and on which topics and areas of language you would like to focus, depending on your personal objectives; for example, you may wish to improve your Conversational English, to concentrate on your Grammatical Accuracy or develop your ability to Read and Write in English.
