The intensive MSA course consists of five hours classes per day combining the basic MSA course with two
additional hours of linguistic activities in the afternoon.
These activities are tailored towards developing conversational skills.
The Egyptian dialect, known as the Egyptian colloquial Arabic (ECA), is the most widely understood dialect in other Arab countries due to the predominance of the Egyptian influence in the media which made it the most widely spoken and one of the most widely studied varieties of Arabic.
The intensive ECA course consists of five hours classes per day.
Ahlan World offers Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) courses across 8 levels, from absolute beginner to advanced. MSA is the standard Arabic that forms the basis of all Arabic dialects across the Arab world.
Modern Standard Arabic course, five hours of lessons daily, from Sunday to Thursday.
In addition to the the MSA course (3 hours/day), there are 2 more hours of lessons daily of linguistic activities, games that test linguistic skills and conversation.
This program combines Modern Standard Arabic course, three lessons daily, from Sunday to Thursday and Egyptian Colloquial Arabic course, two hours of lessons, from Sunday to Thursday. The course is NOT available for absolute beginners.
One-on-one classes at the school are available all year round upon request and can be combined with normal courses.

This course offers an opportunity to combine a General Modern Standard Arabic course with an Egyptian Dialect course. It is composed by 3h of MSA in the morning from Sunday to Thursday + 2h of ECA in the afternoon per day 15h MSA+ 10h ECD.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
