Panlengua is a small Spanish language school in the middle of nature. Our courses are immersion courses in a rural environment, without distractions and in a relaxed way. Each person learns at his or her own pace and in a different way, which is why we focus on the individual, in small groups. Our approach is personal and direct.
Students stay in the same houses and do activities together, all in Spanish. Meals are served in the houses and we enjoy the beautiful river and the good climate of the Olba Valley. We organise various activities and workshops and students can book other activities that interest them. It is wonderful to learn while looking at a beautiful landscape or the stars in a sky without light pollution.
The nationality and age mix at Panlengua varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 50. In the summer, the average age is 50.
teaches students from all over the world, including:
Olba is a small and quiet village full of nature. It is perfect for walking, relaxing and disconnecting. The best way to learn.
Our lodgings are located in three 18th century stone houses in the small valley of Olba, next to the river Mijares. They have been lovingly restored, keeping their original structure and turning them into houses with a special charm.
The threshing floor, where wheat used to be milled, is one of our most special places. In its 8.000m2 you will find the old haystacks, some of the best views over the valley and incredible sunsets. The classes will take place outdoors, in the middle of nature, or in a room in the house, depending on the weather.
We have regular Spanish lessons with Pedro Calderon Torro and travelled to Olba this year. We were amazed by the Spanish landscape. Olba is a little away from the big cities and is ideal for an educational holiday. Pedro Calderon Torro showed us typical Spanish restaurants so that we could learn also the Spanish culinary specialities.
