Who we are
Montreal English Academy is a language institute founded in 2014 with the objective of providing English Language training in a creative environment to enhance the individual ‘s potential. We are located in Bangalore, India. Bangalore is home to world’s largest technological companies and hence is by far the most cosmopolitan city in India. Our team is dedicated and passionate about delivering quality education through student involvement.
What we offer
We cater to English language learners of all genres. We have 6-8 month diploma courses for those who wish to use English as a second language. Diploma courses are offered at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students at these levels receive intensive English instruction for 20 hours per week in the areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.
At the end of eight months they are ready to give a standardized exam like IELTS.
Our short term courses include Business English which is essential for any job.
For university students we have short term courses to refresh their skills and for continued reinforcement of English language.

Business English skills are essential for getting ahead at work. Improving your business English vocabulary and knowledge will help you work more effectively and open up new career opportunities. Ideal for students already in college and/or working professionals.

From time to time, MEA conducts
“Bridge” courses where students can simultaneously enroll in academic classes while continuing to study English for 2 hours per day. At these “bridge” levels, students have the opportunity to try academic courses in a supportive environment. These courses typically include
• intermediate grammar and conversation skills,
• advanced grammar and conversation skills,
• reading and writing skills.
MEA has partnerships with the following universities and colleges in India. You can gain full or conditional acceptance into one of these institutions.
The nationality and age mix at Montreal Academy of English Language varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 20. In the summer, the average age is 17.

MEA does not hold classes on the holiday dates below. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.

Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Bengaluru. These homes are often between 5 - 10 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
