Meros is located in Ikebukuro, one of the most popular areas in Tokyo.
Meros has its own strong points like setting classes more closely, total support for going to higher education institutions(Post-graduates, Universities including science and art, Vocational schools), a 4-semester system giving more chances to start learning Japanese.

Japanese class is held from Monday to Friday and each class has 4H between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. In the class, students are studying Japanese under the curriculum aimed for mastering practical Japanese to go to higher education institutions, find jobs in Japan, and so on.

Meros, having students from all over the world, offer not only Japanese class but also lecture & lesson of Japanese affairs, manners needed for being in Japanese society. Seen in the photos, students always enjoy the lesson like Shodo (classical Japanese writing), Sado(Japanese traditional tea ceremony).

Thus, Meros provides Japanese classes ranged from beginner’s level to advanced and special lesson for understanding Japan in order to achieve students’ aim like going to higher education institutions, working in Japanese companies.

Library Computer Room and Break
Meros library has many books & magazines written in Japanese of various levels (from beginners to native-speakers’ level). Additionally, there are many booklets & other materials of universities, vocational schools in Japan.

Moreover, computers are installed in the PC room which students can use in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, English and there is students’ lounge for a break and communication with other students.

There are two ways of recommendation, one is public and the other is limited to specified language school like Meros. Meros is permitted by so many universities and vocational schools to recommend students because of the good results of Meros graduates. Requirements for recommendation depends on each school.

We have daily tests based on the previous day's material that help students understand their ability and weak points as well as to review what they have learned. This helps the teachers understand what each student needs in class. We use our own exclusive text as well as JLPT materials for classes to deliver interesting, useful and varied lessons. There are also many cultural events to participate in including, kimono wearing, visiting temples, the Imperial Palace, museums, etc. Other events include festivals, visiting and learning about Japanese media industries, visiting theme parks, etc. There are a range of other activities and field trips the school has or can recommend, depending on the season.
