If you’ve no fear of the wind, consider an English school in Wellington as your ideal English-learning location. The Windy City is New Zealand’s cultural capital, an endless array of galleries, museums, music shows, theatre and dance, all on the edge of a rugged coast and backed by stunning hills. With so much to do, you might actually have a hard time concentrating on your classes – except that you’ll want to so that you’ll be able to join in with the extraordinarily vibrant world around you. Wellington truly has the best of both worlds – the full experience that only a big city can give you with the addition of beautiful scenery you normally need to go to the country to find, all incredibly easy to escape to. When your classes are over, take a bike ride or even just a walk on the network of trails that stretches into the countryside literally from the city’s edge, or just have a coffee at any of the multitude of cafés. New Zealand’s capital is not an experience you’re likely to forget, and the friendliness of the Kiwis (as New Zealanders call themselves) will fill in any lack you perceive. Not that we think you’ll find many. English courses in Wellington offer a truly unique experience that’s not to be missed and that’s unlikely to be forgotten.
