Advanced Portuguese courses are for students who can speak Portuguese fluently and without mistakes. This course is ideal for students who have a wide vocabulary, know colloquial expressions and idioms, and understand all common grammar rules in Portuguese. It is for students who can express themselves fluently and spontaneously without searching for expressions.
In a part-time course, students will have classes twice a week in two days (either on Monday and Wednesday or on Tuesday and Thrusday) for two hours a day in the evening.
The end goal of communicating better in Portuguese is achieved through a focus on vocabulary acquisition and a systematic approach to grammar.
Our private tutors adapt the method and the class topics to the interests and professional or personal needs of the student. This means that these Portuguese lessons are, to some extent, customised.
In the intensive course, students will have the opportunity to rapidly acquire and develop the four aspects of language learning: comprehension, oral and written production, communicative and interactive skills. Combo courses were designed especially for those who would like to learn Portuguese as fast as possible, but still want to be part of a group class. Combo courses consist of a combination of group and private classes.
Group classes have a maximum of 9 students in a group, have four sessions per day and happen from Monday through Friday. There is always a 20-minute break after 2 sessions.

n the Combo II, the student may have General Portuguese lessons, in the morning, with specific Portuguese courses, in the afternoon, such as: oral communication; intensive grammar; and/or intensive phonetics.
The student has the possibility to more intensely practice aspects of the language that require improving.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
