Junior English courses in St Julian's are for children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study English in St Julian's. 4 - 8 week courses available in the summer from June to August.
It’s an undeniable fact that more and more parents are opting to join their children on English Language trips to Malta and Gozo. Precisely for this reason, Gateway School of English, itself a family-run establishment, offers a course of study that allows parents to bring their young children along with them to learn English, using facilities on the premises that ensure a flexible and enjoyable stay.
Gateway School of English offers all year round Junior Programmes for students aged between 11 and 17 years. We offer group programmes as well as programmes for individual students who do not wish to travel with a group.

Students in the 3 to 5 year age group have their lessons in their own specially set up ‘Kids Zone’ classroom. Their multisensory English lessons are with a qualified EFL teacher.
This programme has been specially designed for parents who would also like to have their children on a Junior course at the same time within the same school building. It combines 20 lessons of English per week (3 hours per day).
Our Standard Course guarantees a dramatic boost to your confidence in a foreign language, with focused teaching in all 4 skill areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing with 20 lessons per week.
The learning journey continues as soon as classes finish! With our comprehensive leisure programme students have the opportunity to really discover their chosen destination.

General English Group Course - 20 lessons per week. Lessons held from 09:00 till 12:30 (3 hours lessons and 30 minutes break)
7 nights’ full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner) accommodation in shared triple and quadruple rooms at the Junior Residence (Windsor Hotel, Sliema)

Would you like your child to learn English while enjoying a family holiday in Malta? Our junior course encourages your child to learn new language skills, including vocabulary, everyday English and grammar. If you would like to join an adult programme, we have the right course for you too.
Minimum stay: one week
Staying with a Maltese family is a great way for students to practise their English outside of school whilst learning about the culture of this Mediterranean island. All our homestay providers are licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority and approved by EC’s Accommodation staff who visit all host families regularly.

The Day Programme provides an ideal supplement to a family holiday for young students. Learn English, socialise with other students from around the world, and take part in an action packed activity programme.
