The General English course at AICOL is intended for students with a beginner, lower-intermediate and intermediate command of English. It consists of 20 hours of core face-to-face English lessons, and 3 hours of face-to-face self-access lessons per week.
The General English Course aims to develop students’ social practical communication skills in terms of four English skills: listening, speaking and pronunciation, reading and writing including grammar.
The General English course is a 20 hour/week course designed to give students the opportunity for rapid progress in all facets of the English language.
The Winter Camp is held over 7 weeks during our Australian summer in January/February. Students can attend as little as 1 week, or as many as 7 weeks, and can choose to start at anytime.
Our Summer Camp is complementary to our Winter Camp, which is held in January/February.
The Summer Camp is held over 10 weeks during our Australian summer in June/July/August.
Lexis English’s full-time courses are all CRICOS registered and consist of a minimum of 20 hours per week with an optional 5 hours per week of Guided Individual Learning (GIL), whilst our part-time courses consist of 15 hours per week. Our General English course is communication-focused and where many of our students begin.

This course is specifically designed for all those students who wish to improve their general English knowledge. In order to become a part of any Australian community here you need to have effective speaking skills.
English for Academic Purposes is aimed at students who need English for use in higher education or university. Courses focus on performance in English at University level, study skills and fluency practise.
The GENERAL ENGLISH courses at Language Links focus on the language skills for Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking in English. All skills are covered each week and a variety of text books, learning materials and study resources are supplied to assist the students to practice each skill, plus a variety of Grammar and Vocabulary building exercises.
RGIT Australia’s General English (ELICOS) program will help students to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and general communication skills.
RGIT Australia’s General English (ELICOS) program is aimed at non-native English speakers or people with a minimum to average level of English competency.

Junior: For children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study a language in the summer.
How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
