Open year-round, our Málaga partner school is located in a beautiful Andalusian building dating from the 1950s. You’ll study in pleasantly large and airy classrooms surrounded by a garden filled with yucca palms, lemon trees, date palms, and rubber trees, all of which contribute to a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.
During the hot Andalusian summer, the garden provides students with much-appreciated shade as well as a swimming pool that calls for a refreshing splash. Grocery shops, banks, a pharmacy, restaurants, and bars are within 100 yards of the school and 2 minutes is all you need to get to the beach!

Malaga is a city that sparkles because of its temperament. This shows above all in the best known folklore of Malaga: the song and dance of the Flamenco. Before and during Easter there are numerous processions. That’s when Malaga shows itself in all its pomp and circumstance, a joy to behold. The city has many historic attractions. Not just the old center of Malaga with its countless Moorish remains but also the Alcazaba, a Muslim Fort, and the castle on Mount Gibralfaro are well worth a visit.

I was lucky enough to attend a class with only 5 students (4 students the third week): a dream for any teacher. But obviously our teacher mistakes doing a “one woman show” with teaching. She, simply never stopped talking, about her kids, her apartment, relations with her husband, the education her mother gave her, the death of her father….treating her students as her best friends.
It was entertaining at first but ended up being really overwhelming. The worst: if we didn’t interrupt her, there was no way to say a single sentence during the entire morning.
This is why I asked for private tutoring for a week: very profitable eventually. Unfortunately, the third week I was back with the same teacher.
