Course description

COURSE AIMS
We help you become a more confident user of the English language with a special focus on functional skills and culture. Of course, you will always work on all four basic language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

COURSEBOOK
We use the engaging English File, Speak Out and Cambridge Empower series, which help you develop all your English language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. They include lots of useful functional language, fascinating videos, and an engaging online practice for extra learning outside class hours.

E-LEARNING
With the English File, Speak Out and Cambridge Empower series there is extensive online practice for further practice outside class hours.

TESTS
You will take a placement test on your first day in the school, so that we can put you into a group that fits your level of English. After that, you will write progress tests every week, so we can all see how much you improve.

TUTORIALS
Your teacher will meet you at least once a month for a one-to-one discussion on how you are progressing, and what else you could do to develop your English skills.

CERTIFICATE
When you finish your English language course, you will receive a certificate of your studies with us, showing what course you followed. You will also receive an academic report upon request.

"Wonderful."

Mohammed Mesfer Alyami

I would like to praise the teachers here, they are of very good quality and value, the classes are very nice and have great views outside. The location of the college is also good, everything you need is close by, and it is not far from the city center, not close. Also, the activities, what I liked most was the variety of activities and their quality, and that they are not very expensive compared to the enjoyment. Finally, the accommodation is located next to the college, so there is no trouble in getting to the college at all. Thank you to Yorkshire College.
