Course description

The Standard Plus course is a combination of 4 group lessons with 1 individual lesson per day. During the group lessons it provides effective learning improving the 4 main language skills – listening, speaking, reading, writing. We focus on practicing and implementing immediately the new learned skills in the communicative abilities of every student. Role-playing games, amusing linguistic games, idiomatic expressions, comics, newspaper articles, Italian songs…

During the individual lesson you can deepen your language skills very specifically and improve your gaps.

Conte Ruggiero School was founded in 1984. Our courses are fun, stimulating and based on conversation while paying attention to grammar and learning in general. Classes are held in the large Mediterranean school garden with sea view or in spacious and bright classrooms. Benefit from our experience and high-quality standards: we have been offering Italian language courses since 1984 and employ only high qualified teachers. You can choose standard courses, intensive courses, group or one to one lessons. During our special programs “vivere la lingua – live the language” you will live full-immersions in various typical aspects of your holiday in Calabria such as cultural, gastronomical or local environment contexts.

Conte Ruggiero School is located in Santa Domenica near to the famous medieval town of Tropea. The school building is surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden with palms, citrus fruits, banana trees, oleanders and olive trees. It’s the only school of its kind in all Italy. In fact, lessons are held in our friendly classrooms or outside under the trees in the lush school garden.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 50 € when you register.

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Tropea based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
