I began studying conversational Arabic with a Saudi tutor in Portland, Oregon, in May 2017. A growing desire to learn more about the beautiful Arabic calligraphy eventually led me via the Internet to Mister Ahmed Mahmoud Kandil, a master calligrapher living in Cairo, Egypt. The lessons in the Naskh script using Skype began in March 2018.
From the beginning I found Mister Kandil to be encouraging, meticulous in his teachings, innovative in solving the occasional problems that cropped up in the Skype communication, and effective in revealing the beauty of the Naskh script to me as well as fostering a continuing desire to learn more as we progressed. He also exposed me to samplings in the Riqa and Thuluth scripts, demonstrating a mastery of the entire field of Arabic calligraphy.
As an aside, he also designed five patterns in Naskh script for a brooch for my niece, which she had a local jeweler transform into a lovely piece of jewelry in silver and semi-precious stones. The piece is unique, stunning, and a tribute to both the designer (Mister Kandil) and the jeweler.
I highly recommend, without reservation, Master Calligrapher Ahmed Kandil as a skilled teacher of Arabic scripts and as a designer of logos and jewelry using those scripts.
I enrolled in the naskh script online course and thanks to my excellent teacher Mr Ahmad I was able to learn very accurate Arabic calligraphy
He encouraged me always and corrected my writing what for me was very beneficial.
I liked the flexible times four our courses and the patient leading and explanations of master Ahmed.
Due to his professional instructions and advice I progressed steady and fast.
I would highly recommend Arabic Calligraphy Services and Calligraphy master Ahmed to my friends and relatives-
I stay in U.A.E. I really appreciate the course. It gave me a good understanding of Arabic calligraphy.

The teacher knows his work very well. Very flexible with timings and can repeat everything again if the student doesn't understand.
I would highly recommend him or his institute to whoever wants to study Arabic calligraphy at their own pace and in their homes.
Calligraphy has changed my way of seeing the Arabic language in a different light, I am benefiting from the classes and learning at a fast pace. Calligraphy has become a stress reliever for me, the focus of writing each letter is very soothing. The teacher is also very helpful and allows you to understand the history of the Arabic calligraphy and answers all questions. Also what I liked is the teacher being patient with the student .
