We are located 200 km north from Mexico City in one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Mexico and a state of historic and cultural tradition, it' also considered one of the safest and cleanest cities in the country and the UNESCO declared it “World Heritage Site”. In its streets, there are four centuries of history, placed on the monuments, houses, alleyways, and way of living. We carefully selected the location of the school within the city, allowing the students to be within walking distance of the historical, artistic and recreational attractions of the city.
Our programs are made to cover a wide variety of needs, such as for students who want to learn for pleasure, for business, students who need academic credits, and for teachers that require TOPT preparation or teacher enrichment. We offer many options but if you do not find what you are looking for, please feel free to contact us for any specific requirements or course you may need.

The colonial architecture of our building with its two beautiful patios, 17 classrooms, library and internet area, living rooms, BBQ area, ping pong area, Mexican kitchen, and cafeteria provides our students with a pleasant and family atmosphere where they can study Spanish and immerse in our culture.
We have a weekly cultural calendar that changes every week, such as going to the market, Mexican cooking class, city field trip, etc. that have a small fee. Once a week there are OLE activities which are free such as Mexican games, Mexican songs, and Mexican movies, etc. At OLÉ, it is not just about Spanish classes but an all-around Mexican experience including Mexican culture, home-stay with Mexican families, trips, food, friends and more! The school is located in the Historical Center of Queteraro between the streets of Allende & Juarez, one block from the main Avenue which is "Avenida Universidad", 2 blocks from the "The Republic Theater" which is a historical site, 3 blocks from one of the main plazas "Jardin Zenea".
I enjoyed this school and experience very much, but the main teacher assigned to me did not speak English and it was very difficult to ask her any questions as they came up. The school is in a beautiful location and it was a peaceful environment.
Show details » Read more...I arrived during a low attendance period, which turned out to be beneficial as I was getting one-on-one attention from the teachers in both the grammar and conversational classes.
Everyone I interacted with at Olé was friendly and professional which I felt improved the level of my Spanish. The Spanish-only interaction with the teachers was exactly what I needed, as it made me think in Spanish and not revert back to English.
As mentioned in the original description, on the first day, I was shown around Querétaro to get familiar with the central region of this beautiful city.
My homestay was excellent, Mónica couldn't have been kinder and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. I was included in her family gatherings and she also showed me around the area.
I liked everything: class, teachers, staff, home stay friends Jeanie and Pablo.
I especially enjoyed the teachers who were genuinely interested in providing a personalized learning experience. All teachers spoke exclusively in Spanish; at the same time, we seems to communicate quite well - a testimony to the teachers expertise.
The staff was extraordinarily accommodating and helpful: every question cheerfully answered and requests were accommodated. That I was there during Dia de los Muertos was an absolute plus - OLE hosted a very nice party with activities that helped students understand the meaning of the holiday.
The classrooms and public spaces were always very clean and the coffee was always fresh - Thank you Rosie!
The homestay with Jeanie and Pablo made the difference between a fine experience and an unforgettable experience. They we consistently welcoming, accommodating, helpful, interesting, inclusive ...... could go on and on. I hope that the three of us are friends for a long time.
Thank you Sara for your kind words! We really enjoyed having you study with us, hope you come back soon. ¡Gracias amiga!
