Course description

TAIE's Ontario Secondary School Program (OSSD) offers year-round education based on 6 semesters throughout the calendar year. Grade 11 and 12 courses are one semester long – 8 weeks in duration. Courses are timetabled in the morning, afternoon and evening. Each session is 3 hours in length.
TAIE offers courses that prepare students for entrance to colleges and universities in Canada and the USA. Ontario credit courses are provided at the Grade 12 level in a variety of subject areas: accounting, advanced functions, biology, calculus, chemistry, computer studies, data management, economics, English, geography, history, individual and society, mathematics, physics, and visual art. Additionally, these courses are available at either the Grade 10 or 11 levels: career studies, civics, English as a Second Language, and functions.

Students can choose either single or double occupancy suite-style rooms. Each suite is shared by 4 to 6 students and it includes a living area, dining area, a kitchen and two bathrooms. All rooms are completely wired with Internet access, in-room cable TV and telephones. We are sure that your residential experience will become one of the most treasured memories of your study at TAIE.

TAIE International Institute also provides its students with the opportunity to live in a Canadian home as a member of the family so they can practice the English language while learning about the Canadian culture. Students living in a homestay environment find that their English language improves dramatically through daily conversation interactions with family members. All of our host families are carefully selected and monitored by the homestay coordinator to ensure students’ safety and comfort. The host families are located in residential neighborhoods and students are usually required to ride the local transit to campus. Students can choose to have their home stays with or without meals in a private or shared room. Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged C$ 100 when you register.
