Our aim is to teach languages to children so they can progress and enrich their vocabulary while enjoying learning. During the morning, we offer English and French lessons based on the programs designed for the University of Cambridge and Alliance Française examinations.
All of our teachers are qualified and experienced in teaching young people; the teachers are all native speakers. Their motivation is behind the specific character of our program and guarantees its success.
We want our lessons to be lively and different from typical school lessons. The language classes are limited to a maximum of eight participants per class.
They are set up based on the level of the children, allowing greater participation and improvement.
We focus on conversation and gaining confidence.
Lessons are based on the direct method and require the active participation of the student. Teachers work exclusively in their native language.
During the summer camps, to use their linguistic knowledge, the campers produce a play assisted by the teachers and counselors. Each child can give their best performance by having fun.
In the afternoon, the activities:
Every day includes a complete and different program, guaranteeing fun! It’s in a friendly environment,
and in safety, that our enthusiastic and dedicated staff organizes the activities of the day.
ILC organizes sports and enjoyable activities outside or inside (in bad weather) using the large number of facilities in and around Megève.
Campers will participate in the life of Megève by presenting a show to the people of Megève at the
end of the week. This is a way to put into practice everything they have learned during their stay, and
also to display their artistic talents. Creative workshops such as video editing, scrapbooking,… are also
proposed.
At the end of the day, we get together for a special event: team games, evening activities, etc. This time
is also reserved for reading, dreaming or group discussions.
The aim of these activities is to have fun; but we also focus on providing a multilingual environment, because it is at such a time that campers from all over the world communicate together and share
emotions. Our programs are also aimed at developing the talents and the physical aptitudes of each participant. The activities are diverse and we promote individual adaptation while creating an overall positive effect on the group. The activities proposed are based on the age of the participants and adapted to their wishes. All service providers are qualified in their relevant activity.
Week-end excursions visit impressive sites such as the Mer de Glace (Chamonix Mont-Blanc) or the
wonderful Lake Annecy.
The nationality and age mix at International Language Camps varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 15. In the summer, the average age is 15.

Our summer and winter camps are located in Megève, a French ski resort with an international reputation.
Megève is located in the heart of the Savoy Alps, close to Switzerland and Italy. Located in a preserved
mountain environment at 1113 meters, Megève is a safe and secure village with a delicate charm
far from the city life. Megève combines the charm and elegance of a winter and summer sports resort
with a real Savoy village, rich in its history and its people. In the summer, Megève invites you to enjoy walks,
mountain biking and horse riding, along with water and air sports.
Perfectly equipped with a sports infrastructure, Megève offers a wide choice of activities linked to the
mountains and comes to life in the summer with a large classical music festival and a jazz competition
which everyone can enjoy. There are wonderful nature walks and you can make all kinds of discoveries by
following paths, animal tracks, or the clouds.
The nearest international airport is Geneva, and access to Megève is easy at only 75 kilometers.
Our two kids, a 13-year old boy and an 8-year old girl had a wonderful time in International Language Camps. Both were more than happy. We are a Russian family and it was really great because the kids had improved their French as a language. They had learned English in the lessons, they had a lot of different sports activities and of course the nice friendly atmosphere of pure Swiss alps Megev and nice people who organize all of it.

Teachers spoke mostly English to my children!
The camp focused more on activities instead of language learning.
The young teachers could not handle behavior issues appropriately, so it took most time away from learning.
Expectations were not set at beginning of the week with parents. A parent meeting would have been nice.
