Spanish - Mini Group
Ideal for couples, friends or independent travelers who prefer to share a classroom. Max 3 people per class!

Group classes are dynamic and interesting, the learning time is adapted to the level of group work.

Mini groups have a maximum of 3 students with the same level of spanish, ensuring that each student is given plenty of attention and learning needs catered for. The sessions are combined with grammar, exercises and interesting practices, when we work with groups, we take into account their direct interaction, which makes the class much fun.

Our one week program prioritize:
The five C's of foreign language learning: communication, culture, connections, comparisons and communities.

In this program you will learn in a very interactive way how to communicate with locals or while traveling, the study topics are standardized for the progress of the whole group.

We are part of Balsa Surf Camp family, located in the nicest and tranquil area of Montañita in Ecuador, one minute walk from the beach and the most famous surf spot known as "La Punta", there’s always a way to stay entertained between your spanish classes, such as our in-house yoga studio, restaurant or personal development courses, or for those looking for more social activities at night town is only 10 minutes away.

​Our classes are outdoor but comfortable, where nature blends perfectly with the learning environment, the student can relax in all the common areas and enjoy a complementary coffee or tea

We are a small spanish school locally in Montañita, we are locally owned and that is why our community is the most important for us. So, when you choose a study program with us, a percentage goes to finance the educational and cultural projects in the community.

La Escuelita is located inside of the well known Hostal Balsa Surf Camp, in the most peaceful and beautiful neighborhood in Montañita called “La Punta”. Only 10 minutes walking distance from the town center, and just 1 minute away from the beach.

Montañita is a small town on the coast of Ecuador, famous for its excellent surfing conditions, its vibrant nightlife and long beaches.

"More than just a language school"

I highly recommend complementing your vacation time with a Spanish course at "La Escuelita Language Immersion". Gabi is an excellent teacher and perfectly prepares the classes based on your individual language level and your objectifs. She works with very helpful materials for basic and intermediate/advanced level students.
Professionally and personally I really enjoyed the classes with her and noticed a clear progres over my 3 week program.

"La Escuelita" is perfectly located on the famous "punta" of Montañita, which is the quieter and more relaxed part of the village. The school is part of the Balsa Surf Camp, the ideal place to stay, eat, relax and enjoy your time there. Around, you will find chilled beach bars and a very good gastronomic variety.

Over all, I can't be grateful enough for this wonderful experience.
