Course description

Our Intensive 20 Spanish program consists of 20 weekly classes and is perfect for students who are eager to learn Spanish in a short period of time without sacrificing the opportunity to immerse themselves fully in the Spanish culture. Our experienced teachers focus on student participation and interaction by using real-life situations and topics to increase students’ ability to develop authentic language skills that are useful in the real world.

In the event that only 1 or 2 students are enrolled in a course in the same level group, the school reserves the right to change a group course into a Private or Semi-Private Program. If this happens, there will be a 50% reduction in class hours. If a class falls on an official holiday, the school will offer students enrolled in group courses an optional 2-hour group Spanish and Culture class as compensation.

School location

Our partner Spanish school in Sosua is located in the eastern section of the city, in a neighborhood known as El Batey. Both the city center and Sosua's principal beach are a short walk away from the school grounds, which are surrounded by tropical trees that shade the 4 outside terraces where classes can be held. Dominican students studying German or English and international students studying Spanish amicably socialize, relax and practice their new languages in the outdoor garden, equipped with comfortable lounge chairs and a ping pong table. Indoor classrooms are simple yet cozy. The school is equipped with computers with free internet access and Wi-Fi for students who bring their own laptops.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Sosua based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
