Course description

The Intensive One-on-one Chinese Program has been the most popular program since the school started in 2004. Many students who learn Mandarin in China choose the one-on-one learning style because it is designed by our teachers to meet the needs and interests of the individual student. One-on-one Chinese instruction provides you with more opportunities to practice your spoken Chinese and get real-time correction. Having developed a comprehensive system to teach one-on-one Chinese, Keats School is devoted to contributing more to the one-on-one Chinese instruction development in China.

The fee includes these services:

- 4 hours one-on-one Chinese lessons a day Monday to Friday

- Accommodation (A clean and safe single dorm room)

a private, western bath with 24-hour hot water
a fridge
a high speed internet connection
a desk with chairs
a bed with sheets
a wardrobe
a clean water dispenser
a microwave oven (only in couple rooms)

School description

Keats School is the only Chinese language school in Kunming that offers complete services and is located in the city center. For students who want to study Chinese in China, we provide intensive one-on-one Chinese language instruction to overseas students. Our teachers, who speak standard Mandarin and fluent English, get professional training and use unique teaching methods created by our own.

To meet the needs of all students who want to study in China, we develop individual curricula to suit each student‘s proficiency level and goals. Our versatile methods and variety of activities will maximize the amount that you learn in the time you study Chinese here. After learning Chinese in China at Keats, you will be well on your way to fluency. Keats School‘s Chinese culture lessons provide a bridge that links you to rich and profound Chinese culture with fun and happiness.

We provide comfortable single dorm rooms for students in the same building as the school. Eating in our school is much more convenient than eating outside while you learn Mandarin in China. Most of our students choose to eat in our school because we offer a variety of Chinese food every meal. Keats School also offers free Chinese culture classes every weekend.

I like the lessons and the teachers. The room was good and the food was great. During my stay was the moon festival and I heard from others students that we had to take care of our food for that day. It would be nice if there was an announcement from Keats of that.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged ¥ 550 when you register.
