Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Schule. Der Unterricht wie sehr ansprechend
gestaltet und niemals langweilig. Meine Lehrer, Mellodie und Nick, haben den
Lermstoff sehr gut vermittelt. Mit viel Witz und persönlichen Tipps um sich sprachlich
weiter zu entwickeln. "Good Job!".
The location and the teachers are really good. Everything went great and they were always helpful. The housing situation is kind of complicated but I was really lucky with my apartment. All in all good experience!

The teacher one good, the Oder not so much.
The housing not very clean
The activities good
The teachers at the school were so passionate about teaching, and I really learned a lot there, this is the best language school I have been on so far. (3 in total) the teachers and staff were so nice and are really helpful with all the things you may need. The school is perfectly located it only takes a few minutes to everything just like the housing at McCully, it’s clean and nice, only the bed is really bad.

The classes were also nice but there was one classroom that didn't have any windows so the feeling was not that good. It made the classroom very small, too. My teachers and also the other staff were very friendly and attentive. I had a lot of fun with them, too. It was also great that we could drink tea every day and the possibility to join some activities offered every day was great.

A good feeling with teachers. Joël Beck, for example.
A mix between casual and serious.
The location was really good. Classrooms were appropriate
To meet people from all over the world, and learn about other cultures, especially friends from Asia (Japan and Korea).
My regret : Lessons weren't so intensive. When you stay only fifteen days, it is hard to really improve your English.
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 17+. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. It is possible to live in a rented apartment during your study in Honolulu, but this tends to be more expensive. IIE Hawaii provides some assistance with apartment rentals or you can rent an apartment on your own. Learn more about apartment housing
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying full time in the United States for more than 18 hours per week, you will receive an I-20 that you need to submit to the US embassy along with your F-1 student visa application. The I-20 has a SEVIS tracking number on it. Students who wish to apply for a student visa must pay the SEVIS fee online before going to the US embassy or consulate for their visa interview.
Your I-20 will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged $125 when you register.
Please note that United States law states that an I-20 can only be issued to students who intend to pursue full-time English language studies. United States law does not permit students to study part-time with an F-1 Student Visa. If you are studying for less than 18 hours per week, you have to apply for a Visitor Visa (B1/B2) on your own.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Honolulu based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
