Cambridge Exam Preparation:
The English programme in preparation for Cambridge PET, FCE or CAE is based on 25 weeks with 15-hour lessons per week, from Monday to Friday, with a choice of morning or afternoon classes. PET is suitable for students at intermediate level who wish to prove their command of English, while FCE and CAE are for students of higher levels (upper intermediate and advanced) intending to go on to study at degree or master’s level.
Cambridge examinations test students’ command of the English language and ability to use and understand various grammatical structures. Students will have to sit listening, reading, writing, use of English, and speaking sections.
Each English lesson is 3 hours, excluding break. Certain afternoon classes are 3 hours 45 minutes Mon-Thurs.

Dublin Centre of Education offers a variety of courses for adults in our English Language School. Our wide range of General English courses caters for English Language students of all levels. Quality English Language teaching, combined with small classes, guarantees results.
Students can enroll in long-term or short-term courses in General English at Dublin Centre of Education, studying 15 hours per week, with an option to increase the hours for short-term intensive courses. Students can begin their course on any Monday of their choice. Course duration is between 1 week and 3 months for short-term, and between 25 to 52 weeks for long-term (non-visa-requiring students only - students who require a visa to study must take a 25-week course).
The standard General English course covers all aspects of the language: grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Great importance is placed on oral communication, and materials are both relevant and stimulating. Students are tested regularly to ensure they are in the
correct class for their level.
Our examination preparation courses are focused on developing the necessary skills to pass end-of-course external examinations. This involves improving the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as working on vocabulary development and grammatical accuracy.
We offer preparation in Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE and IELTS, and TIE.

My review of Dublin Centre of Education is very good. The team were always available if you need something. The teachers were very good.
I recommend that you choose this school if you need to study English whether zero up to intermediate level.

My English was very poor when I first started at Dublin Centre of Education. The teachers were friendly and fun and the school fee is relatively cheap. They also offered free coffee, tea, WiFi and study materials. They were really nice and fun to be with. Thank you very much Dublin Centre of Education.

Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Dublin. These homes are often between 30 - 50 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 200 € when you register.
