Course description

This course will help you to understand the basics of the English language. You will have different tasks that will help you to gain confidence.
Your teacher will provide you study materials and coursework during the week. By the end of every week, you will get feedback about your progress.

This course focuses on:
- Speaking (one-to-one and groups)
- Grammar (How to write letters, filling application forms, etc)
- Vocabulary (Every day your teacher will teach you a new word)
- Reading (Read and understand different content of text)

Every Friday the students go out to museums, parks, galleries and other touristic places around London. This activity is aimed for our student to give them a little push to start speaking in different scenarios during the day. Halls are large blocks of flats housing hundreds of students, with individually furnished bedrooms organized around corridors or apartments with a shared kitchen. In some cases, bathrooms are also shared, although en-suite rooms are increasingly commonplace.

As they’re typically located on or near campus, living in halls puts you at the center of student life. It’s a great way to make friends and easy to get involved in social activities. While your bedroom may be small, all the facilities you need (for example a laundrette) are usually on-site, and the university accommodation team is on hand when it comes to maintenance.

However, in return for the convenience of halls, you may find yourself paying more than you would in a private house or flat. You don’t get to choose who you live with.

The great thing about sharing a house is having someone to share the bills with. And that’s not just the rent, that includes all your utilities such as gas and electricity, plus your internet and TV subscriptions. You could use that extra money for hobbies and socializing, or by splitting the costs you could splash out on a fancier place or bigger TV package. By sharing you could also save up the money to buy your own place.

Living with people who have different lifestyles can take some getting used to, so it’s important to take the advice and help available to make the experience as stress-free as possible.

When you live with other people, there’s always someone to hang out with. From having someone to talk to when you need to share your worries or a binge-watching partner for your favorite TV show, they’ll usually be someone on hand to keep you company. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to meet new friends outside your usual circle.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 59 when you register.
