"Not what I expected"

Marie Hardy, student from Sweden

I signed up for "English for teachers" and expected to be among teacher fellows and to concentrate on the science of teaching. The "English for teachers" part was actually just the 5 hours private tutoring and the other 20 hours were spent in a group of people with B2 level. The classroom was too small but the book and the teachers were good. There weren't as many activities organized as the website advertised. The housing was a bit far from the school but great.

"LSI gave me a fun alternative to learn English."

LAURA COLMAN, student from Venezuela

I think LSI has an excellent team of teachers. Each of them have a different methodical manner to teach English.

The school is located in a good place. You can find different options to have a lunch. The problem with LSI is you can not take your lunch in a close place inside school, and also you do not have a microwave to heat the food.

There are many activities that you can take for free or paying a promotion price, and you can have fun with a lot with teachers and students.

I recommend this course to future students.

"Beautiful"

Gianluigi Cafiero, student from Italy

I was in LSI Brighton only for 2 weeks, it was a little time to have a lot information.
For me this was a beautiful experience because I came back to the past when I was young without the problem of young people.
About the school I liked teachers and tehir methods, manly Rachel and Jhon.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from LSI Brighton. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 95 when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

The school offers airport pickup services. If you wish to be picked up, just give us your flight details and arrival date. The price of a one-way airport transfer from Gatwick is £ 120. You must book your airport transfer in advance when you register.

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Brighton based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
