Blue Noun Language Hub
The Over 60s Language Coaching Holiday is an immersive English learning experience tailored specifically for adults aged 60 and above. This program combines language improvement with the opportunity to explore Scotland’s stunning landscapes, rich culture, and fascinating heritage.
Participants enjoy a range of activities, including guided walks, visits to historic sites, cooking, and sharing meals. These real-life experiences are carefully designed to enhance English language skills in a relaxed and supportive setting.
This course is ideal for individuals who want to improve their English without the added pressure of being the eldest in a mixed-age group. Scheduled exclusively during the first two weeks of May, the program ensures a comfortable, age-specific environment where participants can step out of their comfort zone in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
While everyone's energy levels may vary, a minimum fitness level of being able to walk 5 miles is required to fully participate in the activities. The advertised 38 teaching hours are spread across the week and are integrated into a variety of activities and social events, ensuring that learning is enjoyable, practical, and engaging.
At Blue Noun, the focus is on creating confidence through meaningful language practice while exploring the beauty and history of Scotland.
Week 1 includes a visit to Edinburgh's Beltane Fire Festival (1st May)

Blue Noun teaches students from all over the world, including:
Crieff is a medium-sized town located in the heart of Perthshire, a region in central/northern Scotland renowned for its stunning mountains, wide salmon rivers, outdoor sports, and breathtaking scenery.
Our school is situated in Crieff town centre, just 20 miles from the cities of Perth and Stirling, and approximately 30–35 miles from both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Perth. These homes are often between 10 - 20 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Perth based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
