The CLUB-15H is a group course for beginners of 5 lessons of 3 hours per week (so 15 total hours). It is organized in specific weeks, usually one week per month. Group work is fun, suitable for students who wish to share and assimilate their learning experience. The quality of learning depends on the individual participation during the lessons. This is why inlingua recommends having small groups with a limited number of students.

inlingua Como boasts a safe, convenient location in the historical center of Como amongst shops and cafes. Students enjoy comfortable classrooms with natural light and views of the lake, Duomo and dramatic mountain landscape.
Inlingua Como is located in the Center of Como close to the lake, all shops and restaurants. All employees are very nice and I was super happy with my teacher. She was very flexible and concentrated on my needs. Thank her I improved the language a lot and I’m more open to speak it! Additionally she put a lot of effort showing me also some places around Como as well as normal life in Como with some small nice places to eat or markets, where I could use the language in daily situations.
The school itself is a little bit old and could be better equipped but for me the teacher was the most important and we spent a lot of time outside so in this case no minus point for that, but maybe it’s important for others:)
the course was very intensive because there were only two of us students. But it was also shortened by one hour for this reason. There were few questions about the students' needs, but important grammatical and syntactical forms and phrases relevant to everyday life were practiced.
Our teacher Victoria was extremely competent and had fantastic pronunciation.
All in all, the effort was well worth it for me; perhaps it would have been good to be at school for one more hour a day.
Teacher: excelent, very motivating, explained very well, good structured lesson.
Location: in central town, rooms OK, equipment OK,
Acrivities: there was not much time for extra activities because in the afternoon I prepared my homework.
Housing: I organized it myself, because the school had no possibility. No support by the school; a weak point!
The organization was not good. A few days before the course, the times were changed. 2 x only 2 hours and the rest 4 hours. That's too much, you can't concentrate anymore. The Zoom organization didn't work for me. I was then asked via WhatsApp whether I wanted to take part. I don't think that's fair.
I wouldn't book again.
Dear Ute,
we are happy that you liked your Italian course and our teachers and that you yourself confirmed that you learned a lot;
we are happy that you have now understood the logic behind the construction of articulated prepositions, that you have practiced asking for and giving street information, booking a table at a restaurant and ordering your food, talking about yourself with friends and much more, improving your Italian in a week only...(using this "outdated" method based on conversation with mother tongue teachers, he!);
We are happy that your classmate agreed to:
- move the lesson to the bar so you can eat a pizza because you were hungry
- change the program slightly at the beginning of lessons to allow you to easily arrive 30 minutes late without missing important notions of the course
- move the Friday lesson to ZOOM to avoid you having to drive 1 hour to reach school
we are really sorry that you were unable to connect to ZOOM to take the lesson together with your classmate who still took the lesson online;
we're sorry that we had to write to you on WhatsApp because you weren't available because you had put the "silencer" on your phone and couldn't hear our phone calls;
We are sorry that our colleagues from the secretariat of our school, who live nearby and mostly come on foot or by public transport, are trained exclusively to provide information on educational paths for language courses and are not equally trained to provide information on where to park your huge camper;
We're sorry that you didn't tell us straight away that you would have preferred to manage the timetable differently, because we are extremely flexible and could have easily organized the course in a more convenient way for you if only we had known.
finally, we are sorry that you wrote such a negative review after all the efforts we have made to satisfy your many small extra requests...
you came to us because you booked an Italian course and this was extremely useful and profitable for you. and we are happy like that.
We wish you the best, continue studying Italian please!
a warm hug from all of us
I had a one-to-one Italian course with Sara. She was a great teacher. I had 4 hours every day. It was a bit too much to digest and keep focused. I would recommend 2-3 hours. The facilities could have been better. I missed especially a room with some coffee, tea, water for the breaks. Other than that the staff was really accommodating. I learned a lot.

Sometimes she spoke a littlebit to fast for me to follow. But generally it was good.
My italian knowledge improved.
There was no dislike.
Inlingua Como provided everything I needed. My teacher, Elisa, asked me at the beginning what I wanted to accomplish, and got me there. Having private lessons was the perfect approach, because Elisa went seamlessly back and forth between her lesson plan and the tangents when we got to something I wanted to explore a bit more. As I hoped, it was almost pure immersion, with the occasional use of English when I needed a more detailed explanation of something new. Elisa and Marta in reception were warm and welcoming, and the facility was great and in an idea location in the center of everything and 5 minutes walk from the lake and ferries. I stayed at the Hotel Tre Re, which was two minutes walk away from the school, with its own restaurant and tons of access to shops, bars, restaurants. The hotel was lovely, with breakfast included and a gracious, multilingual staff. Clean and comfortable, and good value in pricey Como. Would absolutely stay there again.
All in all, a wonderful experience- I learned a ton and wish I could have stayed longer.
I had a great time at inlingua Como. I appreciated to learn in a pleasent atmosphere with three kind teachers: Fabiola, Luisa and Gloria. They instruced me with big patience. Thank you all!
Now at home, I can continue to study Italian due to informative books and other helpfull instructions, I got.
I followed an Italian course at Inlingua Como for 5 days, with 1.5 hours of private lessons every day.
I learned a lot during that course, thanks to Stefania who is a wonderful teacher and a very nice person ! She's always cheerful, and obviously passionate about her work.
The lessons were perfectly suited for my level, allowing me to reinforce some of my previous skills, and to learn some new ones.
Overall, I'm very satisfied about this program and Inlingua Como in general.
The school is very very well situated, in the heart of Como's old city centre. The facilities are a bit old fashioned, but nonetheless functionel and rather agreeable.
The Inlingua school in Como is in a great location, central and with a view of the lake.
The staff and teachers were all really friendly and made the whole experience fun as well as making sure that we all learned as much as possible in the time we had available.
They were also very accommodating and understanding when I had to miss a lesson due to a change in my personal circumstances.
I would definitely recommend studying with Inlingua and hope to return here in future.
I liked it a lot, thanks!
The teacher Barabara was very kind and patient, very nice.
Two hours alone was very intensive, but for me it was exactly what I wanted.
Next time I would just like to have a conversation with her, it means reading a book together and talking about it. Grammar at this level has become so difficult and complicated that I no longer need to speak.
I will surely reverence,
Thanks Janine
I had a great teacher who responded to me personally. The environment was very bad despite the bad weather
enjoyable. Really Italy!
Alessia was a great teacher and the location of the school is fantastic. Learned a lot in a short time.

The highlight for me was my teacher Stefania. She is brilliant. Each lesson was so well prepared and interesting.
She made me feel very comfortable and shared her love of Como and the lake.
I had a very nice apartment 3 minutes from the school.
The school itself was delightful and I got a great welcome from the staff each morning.
It's been a real pleasure having lessons with you Ruth! You are such a sweet person! thank you for your review, we appreciate it very much. You are so clever in learning that our time in the class was really flying
