Teachers in the school use modern teaching techniques, 100% Teachers are Mother tongue with a deep teaching ability, graduated in Linguistic, foreign languages or with a master in didactic for foreigners. Every lesson is divided into different parts in order to use a wide range of activities. In our school teachers use also didactic games, role plays... We like to say:" We are happy about our Italian language teaching knowledge but we use also Anglosaxon practical teaching way, more direct and more fun" Grammar in the context is our idea to get the learning goals.
Learning language must be funny, in this way the student can improve language quickly. Director of the school has been Ca' Foscari Venice University teacher of the Italian language. He likes to teach and at the same time to prepare lessons with the other teachers.
School is in Cannaregio, a fantastic area, calm, relax, close to the lagoon (nice sunset!) Area is plenty of bar and typical Venetian restaurants.
We don't like to have a mass of students, we prefer to have 2-6 students maximum 10.
We prefer to pay attention to the teaching quality, create always new educational activities, put the students at the center of Learning process.
The nationality and age mix at Easy Italian Language & Art Venice school varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 40. In the summer, the average age is 33.

We are in Cannaregio area, one of the quite and traditional Venetian areas. 15 minutes walking from the railway station. We are 5 minutes walking distance from Tre Archi Boat stop. We prefer to pick up students at Tre Archi Boat stop because there are different roads and it is not so easy to find our place alone. Lagoon is very close and it is nice to see the sunset.
The classes were 2hours daily for 9 days of private tuition. We only had a 15mins walk from our airbnb in a quite part of Venice. All activities Michele used were varied. His teaching techniques were sound and fun. Thus allowing us to retain the information we needed. Homework was given and reviewed the next day. Nothing was arduous.
Free classes have given myself a solid base as a “newly” to Italian. We have continued Italian lessons in another part of Italy and evaluating the two I can recommend our Venice experience.

Michelle was creative, engaging and met us where we were in our Italian skills. He used a variety of teaching methods that were delightful and helped us. As we used our newly acquired language skills we had several native Italians that complimented our use of the language in the two weeks after the class when we were in Italy. We would highly recommend him as a teacher. We had expected to have the same teacher for the 15 hours of class for which we paid. We were disappointed in the substitute teacher we had for about a third of the hours. That teacher was not as creative and did not seem to understand our level as well.

The lessons were designed by Michele very interactive and he has responded to my needs and had a good sense of my understanding or not understanding. It was a lot of fun. The location was very familiar and offered many opportunities for interactive learning.

For me it has been perfect because I wanted learn as quick I could and the teachers helped me to do it. We were 4 students in the class and we did several different fun activities.
I definitely improve my Italian knowledge and I felt to stay at home. Grazie Michele e Daniela!
