The course provides basic knowledge in German.
In 160 teaching units and approximately 8 weeks of teaching time all relevant content for level A1 will be taught according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). In the first place, the teaching pursues a communicative approach to teaching German. However, grammar skills, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and vocabulary are also trained.

Our teachers have several years of teaching experience in preparatory language courses and the test formats DSH, TestDaF and telc. We pursue a communicative approach to language education. In addition to teaching, we offer extracurricular activities, such as a weekly language café for sharing, playing and speaking together.

Deutsch Aktiv language institute is located in the city center of Dortmund near the subway station "Reinoldikirche". The train central station "Dortmund Hauptbahnhof" is within walking distance. In the immediate area of the institute you find shops and cafés.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
