Course description

The curriculum is structured to provide development in the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and the different language areas of grammar, vocabulary and functional English. All classes are organised to respond directly to individual students needs. The focus is on real-world English, taught with a practical, communicative approach, with activities in a real life environment.

4 hours of study per day, 8:00am to 12:15pm
Depending on levels, participants can choose to study in the 50+ classes,
or join existing classes with our adult students (17+).

Activities
We have curated a selection of after-class activities like walking-tours, visits to museums and sightseeing hikes, specially designed around the interests of our 50+ students.

Accommodation
Our 50+ students are housed in shared serviced apartments within walking distance to the college.
The program includes airport pick-up.

International House Bondi is located in Bondi Junction, less than 5 minutes away from the train station by foot. Surrounded by shops, the school is just a 10-minute bus ride away from the iconic Bondi Beach.

International House Bondi is part of the International House World Organisation, the oldest teacher training and language learning organization in the world. Being a Teacher Training Centre in the Sydney CBD campus, we select the most qualified and motivated teachers for our English courses at IH Sydney CBD and IH Bondi.

"It was useful and fun"

After two years without practicing International house Bondi was a good refresher of my English skills, the teachers and students were nice, I would say it’s a good start when you arrive in a new host country.
on the other hand one day a week we do activities that have little interest in learning English and the exams should be more spaced, that’s only my opinion

The classes and the teachers were very professional, the location was good, pretty central. Unfortunately not enough female toilets, big waiting times in the breaks. I didn't participate in the activities and housing.
