The city of Taipei is the economic, political, and cultural center of Taiwan; it is located on the northern tip of the island. During the 19th century, Taipei became an important center for trade, and it continues to be an international hub to this day. People interested in Chinese Mandarin school in Taipei will enjoy Taipei for its diverse cultural activities, many exciting tourist destinations, shopping, festivals, and beautiful architecture. Taipei is a huge city with many districts and each district offers something different to explore; visitors can find national parks and hot springs in one district, a bustling financial district in another section of the city, and the Taipei zoo in yet another.
